Peachy Pleats

Shirt: Topshop
Skirt: Vintage

I got my wisdom teeth out on Friday. I've never had an IV stuck in me... it literally seemed like a movie scene. I remember saying "I feel woozy..." and the next thing I know, someone was waking me up and helping me walk down the hallway to meet my friend who was taking me home. It was awesome. After a day of painkiller-induced naps and ice cream, I had to get outside. Please excuse my chipmunk cheeks in these photos!

My friend and I went to Lula B's to search for furniture for my new apartment. It's been in the mid-80s here, so I busted out my springiest spring wear. I was obsessing about the Emile awhile ago, but I saw it in person and decided it definitely did not fit my personality. That bag was stiff as a rock and I could probably kill someone if I hit them on the head with it. The Darcy on the other hand, was another bag I've been eying. It has a much more classic look but it's still got the A.Wang edge that I love. I carried it around during SXSW last week and it did me well. I love it.

I also love these BCBG wedges. They are the best thing ever. They were so inexpensive and they are so comfortable. I feel like I'm walking on clouds... and they do amazing things for your ankles!

Happy weekend!

A. Wang's Emile Tote

I've been delaying and delaying buying a new bag because I just haven't been completely smitten with any bag lately until this one popped up on Neiman Marcus's website.

I think my jaw dropped, my heart stopped, and I died. And then came back to life. And then died again.

Alexander Wang Large Emile Tote

I told the sales associate to call me the minute it arrives. I just can't decide between black or eggshell.

Did I mention, I had a dream on Saturday night that I fell in love with A. Wang. He was straight and everything I ever dreamed of. And invited me to come visit him in the spring... I think I am obsessed.

Garbage

Shearling jacket, Nasty Gal; Leotard, American Apparel; Sheer Pleated Skirt, Vintage; Sunnies, Prada; Shoes, Aldo.

Ventured out into Oak Cliff w/ my friend Jun who also took these great pictures. It was pretty overcast and windy, so obviously I felt that it was the prime time to bust out this amazing thrifted sheer pleated maxi skirt.  I know platform heels aren't for everyone, but I personally love them. They don't kill your feet like other heels... and you could kick someone's ass in them. Sold!

Lookbook Thursday: Rachel Antonoff Spring 2010

I know I'm a year behind but I found this lookbook intriguing as I was web-surfing tonight. Actually I was researching to find where/when I can get my hands on a pair of Bass by Rachel Antonoff shoes (the ones w/ the bows on them in particular)... but I stumbled upon this instead. I love the story that each picture tells in Rachel Antonoff's lookbook. It's more than just a girl standing there showing you a garment. You start to wonder... what magical fantasyland is this tutu taking her? And will it take me there too if I wear it? I think that's something so great about fashion and editorial. You're in the present but the clothes can take you wherever your mind wants to go in that moment. Or as little girls call it.... dress-up.

Ethereal dimension

Obsessed with OAK's new editorial. God, it is so good. I was contemplating getting a haircut... and then I saw this and thought no, long frocks are so great.

A.P.C. Resort Men's Collection

The A.P.C. Men's resort collection makes me want to date every boy out there sporting this brand. Bonus if he is French!

One of my most favorite labels out there... I cried when I found out my breton-striped sweater had mysteriously disappeared. I have since returned to NYC to replace it with a much pricier sister, but I'm glad I own a piece again. :)
