Brighton Beach

Here are some pictures from Brighton Beach back from the summer in NYC. I can't even begin to tell you how perfect of a day that was and how much I miss that place.

I got these shorts from this great online store based in Austin called Buy Definition a while ago, but never really busted them out of the closet until recently. They are probably my favorite pair of shorts that I own and I think I wore them probably twice a week in NYC. I've seen many renditions of the high-waisted pleated short, but these kind of take the gold medal. My only mistake was washing them w/ the rest of my clothes and turning them all blue. Bleachhh!!!! 

If you're in Brooklyn, please stop by Brighton. Maybe not now, since it's getting colder... but honestly, it  was so amazing to experience such a peaceful getaway literally a hop away from home. And don't forget to buy beer before you go.

Fall Preview: Charlie Vintage Ankle Boots

So here are a couple things that will soon be on the Etsy.

One of my favorite things to thrift for are unique boots. I feel like granny boots have definitely exploded and I'm personally excited for the Rick Owens-esque black ankle boot trend that I feel like a lot of brands are starting to catch up on.

The first pair are my favorite of the 3. They have a hint of Rick Owens. The lace-up back is SO amazing. I was so stoked to find these and I can't wait to pair them up with a happy owner. I only wish they were my size.

This past summer I literally worked 2 blocks away from the R.O. store. How did I not go?! I don't know. Hopefully you'll see a lot more of stuff inspired by him in my store soon. :)
