Pleats Please.

Wearing all vintage pieces from charlievintage.etsy.com and Aldo chunky heels

I have been scouring every thrift store in town for pleated skirts, and this is probably my favorite one so far. It pretty much goes with anything, and as you can tell... I paired it with pretty much all of my recent newly posted Etsy items.

This camel-nudish color is so great... I wish someone would make a nail polish in this color. Would it be weird... like you have no nails?

Anyway, the pleated skirt is not for sale because I'd be an idiot to sell this beauty! But everything else is, so take a peek. :)

Etsy Update: Dresses and More

Updated the Etsy. I am so in love with the XOXO red pumps... no joke. They are beyond spectacular and will be sad if no one else in this universe thinks they are as fabulous as I do.

Half Days

Wearing a vintage lace dress from Laced with Romance, thrifted blazer, and Aldo chunky heels.

I have an obsession with lace. I feel like it forces me to push my boundaries in clothing... and I really have to go through a battle every time I decide to wear it, just to make sure everything... is covered up.

This dress in particular has a very low drop waist w/ some foldover detail... it's kind of off-putting yet intriguing all at the same time. From the wrong angle, it looks like I have a triple chin on my stomach. But then, it's like... no, there's no way she has a triple chin on her stomach ... that dress is pretty! I think that's pretty much what went through my head. The drop waist gives it more of a masculine touch, so it's not overly girly.

I got off work early today, so I drove around Lakewood ... and ended up on these railroad tracks. I'm pretty sure I looked crazy. The area truly is gorgeous.

Shearling, my dearling.

I've been longing for these shearling wedges from ASOS to arrive, and arrive they have.
What? Does that even make any grammatical sense at all? No.

Wearing a vintage shift dress, AA tights in plum, and ASOS shearling lace-up wedges

They're actually a half size too big since they use UK sizing... so after a while, my feet started hurting. Is there some kind of remedy besides shipping them back and seeing if the smaller size will fit better? I have a feeling they'll just be a half size too small. Sigh! No pain, no gain. Since socks and knits are, you know, so cool right now... maybe I'll just wear some chunky socks to make my feet fatter and the shoes will fit better.

One more thing. I changed my headlight today. Next on the list ... changing a flat tire.
